In all honesty, this piece is a weird one. For the drums, which I did first, it was inspired by both heart of rock 'n roll by Huey Lewis, and sugar were going down by fallout boy for the second part; don't ask me why I honestly have no clue why fall out boy came to my mind for the second part of it initially. Originally I was going to write a full rap verse for the song but I ended up opting to do freestyle because I like being candid when it comes to school projects. After doing the freestyle is when I did the chords and the melody attempting to make it all coherent; and in my opinion though it's weird I think it came out really cool, not that I would ever release it to my audience, because even my audience would find it weird but I enjoyed it.

this song is in the key of G, being honest I really like the transposition option in the edit window for many because it makes it a lot easier to do other keys than just C which is what I played it in, I chose G is because I didn't want to be boring and just pick C for the 15th million time when making a project for school or whatever; it also fits well with the freestyle that I did for the project. I think this might have been the most hip-hop beat I've ever produced by myself, the way I edited the vocals without attempting to go for a big room feel; it might sound weird, but even though I am a rapper I love live, acoustic, and more rock and roll (classic 70s and 80s) sounds when it comes to my music and that's why I chose to use my time based effect to make it sound the way did.
